I entered the program with a beginner's mind. I am not afraid that I am leaving empty handed, I have support on how to strengthen my advocacy and scale up the community collaborations. I have many stories to tell now!
Training has helped reinforce my belief in the strength of vulnerable storytelling as a tool to bring people closer together, which can, in turn, lead to more successful organizing efforts.
Throughout the training I was thinking, I wish my best friend was attending this, I wish my partner could attend this, I wish my mother was listening to this right now!
