Indonesia Program Team

Key Responsibilities

The Indonesia Team Members will be responsible for:

  • Working collaboratively to build a solid team that carries out agreed programs and provides input for developing future programs.
  • Assisting in designing, developing, and implementing dynamic training and workshops based on identified needs.
  • Facilitating training sessions for both large and small teams.
  • Supporting the evaluation process for future training and workshop development.
  • Helping organize training schedules and ensuring all necessary preparations for the smooth execution of training activities.
  • Assisting in organizing logistics, accommodation, and other requirements related to training and workshops.
  • Networking with training participants and alumni, while actively contributing to building a strong and effective movement ecosystem.

Requirements

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience as a campaigner/organizer with a strong background in environmental and social issues.
  • 3+ years of experience facilitating teams and groups.
  • Experience in designing training/workshops, at least on a small scale.
  • A solid understanding of Indonesia's movement landscape, network maps, and dynamics.
  • Experience in systematically reporting activities, evaluating them, and adjusting plans based on feedback.
  • Skills in storytelling, digital activation, and creative content production are a plus.
  • Team player and ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing situations, and manage conflicts and crises.

  • Networking: Skilled in building and maintaining relationships across various levels of the ecosystem, including potential partners, activists, and training alumni.
  • Discipline and Precision: Strong work ethic, commitment to achieving results, and attention to detail in planning and execution.
  • Flexibility: Able to adapt to the dynamic nature of the work, with the flexibility to take on tasks beyond those listed above.

Desirable:

  • Understanding of campaign formation or organizing at various levels.
  • Experience working with people of different ages, backgrounds, and interests.
  • Ability to adapt to and manage team dynamics.
  • Active involvement in creating campaign products, online or offline. Or:
  • Experience in organizing environmental or social movements.
